A "rusticano" day (curnutu e pure mazziatu!"


after a rural breakfast at the lovely market in Ortigia
where Andrea's wife prepared a delicious hot ricotta cheese



                   after the  sunny tour  among the ruins at the Archeological park of  Neapolis


we drove directly to Vizzini.. looking  for the Cavalleria Rusticana places...

 *Mamma mia! how hard it was to explain to the Japanese group why Alfio killed Turiddu! One Japanese lady asked me " why didn't he directly killed her wife Lola?I don't understand I don't understand...it was easier!!" with a funny clear japanese accent..

Hmmmm..I thought ,just for a few seconds....and said " Madam ,Alfio ..I think ,was defendig his own honour more than her wife's.. He couldn't stay curnutu e pure mazziatu!!!
