Gorgeous boats in the second picture, Lucia!
RispondiEliminaI adore your Siracusa harbor.
But the big boat at the top worries me. Is precious little Ortigia beginning to allow huge cruise ships in???
oh no, my dear Jann. Fortunately no, not yet at least as according to the present - ever future plan our beautiful harbour will become a tourist harbour destined to big cruise ships (They say..).
RispondiEliminaWe see , just from time to time some cruises like Azamara Quest yesterday..
To me, the great harbour in Ortigia is already a gorgeus natural tourist harbour and we'd select the kind of cruises we want.
The type of harbour offer a natural selection of guests who would be lucky to stay so close to such beautiful historical centre. The clients of Azamara were amazed by Ortigia, they could reach with no tender, no shuttle bus ,no taxi..simply walking down from the boat..
Fantastico...
