Sicily as a source of inspiration...










In questi giorni lo stilista americano, ma di origini palermitane,  Danny Wise è in giro per le vie di Siracusa e di Ortigia.

In un'intervista ha dichiarato: "Siracusa sarà la mia fonte d'ispirazione per la mia prossima collezione"
"La mia donna ideale? Ha uno stile personalissimo fatto della stravaganza americana, dell'eleganza francese e del cromatismo del Mediterraneo"

Farà ritorno a Siracusa perchè folgorato dalle bellezze di Ortigia, per la cordialità della gente e per le emozioni che regala.

In these days the American (but born in Palermo)  fashion stylist Danny Wise, is travelling around Sicily, stopping in Siracusa..,

"Siracusa will be my next source of inspiration.." he declaired..
"My ideal lady is a blend of the American extravagance, French elegance and  Mediterrenean colours"

It seems Mr WIse has chosen Ortigia (Old Siracusa)  for its next collection .
To him Siracusa is an ideal town for the politness of its people, for its beauty and emotions.

XXIV WORLD DAY OF TOURIST GUIDES. The Artemision in Ortigia

 Since 1990 all over the world  on  the 21st February Tourist Guides celebrate the World Day of Tourist Guides - promoted by the World Federation of Tourist Guides association and in Italy by the National Association of Tourist  Guides - to let people know  their wonderful job,  through their competence and passion offering free tour guides in their own cities and sites .
