Andrea Bocelli a Siracusa: unforgettable!



Sono passati pochi giorni ma ancora intatte restano le emozioni che Andrea Bocelli ci ha saputo regalare con il suo cuore e con la sua bravura......
Purtroppo poche fotografie e qualcuna anche  sfuocata...ma sfuocato non è il mio ricordo di quella serata..

Il nostro bellissimo teatro greco, credo, meriterebbe eventi di alto livello più frequentemente....e non solo gli spettacoli classici ....
( un mio modestissimo parere...) ... e voi che ne pensate???

A few days later but is still intact the memory of the wonderful concert of Andrea Bocelli at our greek theatre in Siracusa...A great heart and   high professionality...
Unfortunately my pictures are not very good...but that evening was great! Deep emotion!

Our Greek Theatre should be used for such great events more frequently , and not simply for the traditional classical drama..
This is my personal opinion

Busulmona: like Heaven!

Busulmona : XIXth  century farmhouse, once property of the  Cavaliere Sessa, today run by the family Di Pino. 5 km far from Noto it is immersed in a wonderful almond grove and carobs olives and all the colours of nature   make of this piece of Sicily a true paradise! It works as a B&B at the moment with only two bedroom, but it's also possible to have lunch tasting olive oil and almonds and wathever  what rigorously the family produce and cook for you!  Tranquillity, harmony, genuinity.. this are the things coming to my mind when I was there The name Busulmona , which is the name of all that area,comes from the Arabic and means the land of sun....  an extraordinary view  from the stone terrace on the Val di Noto, from Noto to Vendicari and Marzamemi... . for further information : www.busulmona.com

Now it's better!

Now it's better! Here I am! It's 6 weeks now since I fell, having troubles with the legaments of my right knee! Ahi che dolor! No work,no walk .......... Now it's better.....but slowly slowly....... Buona giornata!

Greenpeace - Rainbow Warrior mission in Siracusa

*photo courtesy from Maurizio Barone last Sunday 19th october the admiral Rainbow Warrior  from Greenpeace  was in Syracuse for her mission : STOP FOSSILS  GO RENEWABLE sailing in the Mediterranean  to say no to future planned oil drills at sea the sicilian motto used was "u mari nun si spurtusa" today the Rainbow Warrior has just arrived  in Naples sign in favour of Greenpeace campaign http://www.greenpeace.org/italy/non-fossilizziamoci/?utm_source=Gpit&utm_medium=openspace&utm_campaign=RW3tour_PT2#petition we did !!
