Ortigia: prove tecniche di trasmissione

Tourist season has started  and wedding season too! Yesterday in Ortigia

Yesterday this was the way our  Cathedral was dressed! I went through the main gateway with my group of israelian tourists and we were amazed to find that the bride likes PINK An old lady  told me it was a special wedding: HE Italian and SHE a foreigner! DUOMO in ORTIGIA

  This morning in Piazza Duomo in Ortigia... "photoes stolen " during a shooting for a Dutch magazine (I think they were speaking Dutch!)

To me: a lipstick ( for the hundreds of kisses she 'll give) kleenex (possibly  for her tears of joy) a mobile phone (I hope not!!) what else? ------------- Cosa ci sarà nella borsetta della sposa? un rossetto (per tutti i baci che darà?) kleenex ( per le lacrime di gioia?) un telefonino? (spero di no!) che altro??

 Yesterday a very nice tour with my American tourists : starting from Marina di Ragusa, to Ragusa Ibla and then luch in Modica and from Modica in the tiny but picturesque fihermen village of Marzamemi and then to Noto where , in its beautiful Cathedral a wedding had just been celebrated.. Looking at the couple making  the "offcial photoes", looking around at the wedding guests....and then waiting the groom and the bride coming out from the church. To my American people all this was amazing and it sounded more interesting than the Baroque in Ibla, the sunset in Marzamemi or the dark choccolate of Modica... .. Why not? This is also Sicily! A question? They got married on Monday! Do you celebrate weddings also on the week days and not only in the weekends? Yes we do, every day BUT never on Sundays. They're  around making photoes as memory of the day it's the turn now to make photoes with " i parenti più stretti" - the cl...

With some imagination Piazza Duomo can become a Milonga  dancing a sensual Tango also with an umbrella!!! It's a big problem to find a partner for tango lessons here, at least  till some years ago...now Sicilian men are changing and some are taking Tango lessons , but a few arrive at the end of the course!! Uffa!!! Anyway in Siracusa there's a very good school of Tango...... The day after, arriving in Piazza Duomo with a group of tourists, , instead,  we thought to be in a set of a movie.....cameramen and photoreporters all around!! A movie??? oh no!.....A sicilian wedding.....a very elegant couple were the protagonists of a real wedding!! Do you like it? Or do you prefer a more private atmosphere?
