Siracusa soon on Sunday Times!!

Ortigia from l'Isola

ecco le sue parole "the highlight of the trip was undoubtedly Lucia - she's an expert guide and charming person.I would not hesitate to reccomend her..."

It's the best thing to read nice compliments  about me and my job, especially when I feel really tired,
when I think to the economic difficulties of these times
when I 'd like to change everything and nothing changes
when I think to the incompetent people working in the institutional offices who should promote our city and territory and they don't
when I see the calm and blue sea around and the wonderful things surrounding me
when I smell unforgettable and genuine flavours in the air
all things which should be our potential here...

I worked with a very good and brilliant journalist from the Sunday Times who will write an article about Siracusa next days
I'm sorry I couldn't have enough time for her, but hope enough at least to give her an idea about what Siracusa is and how much I love it.
Thanks Mia and have a good job.
The picture above is all for you!

Here her words about me follows:
"...the true highlight of the trip was undoubtedly Lucia - she's an expert guide and a charming person .I would not hesitate to recommed her

  1. CONDIVIDO PIENAMENTE IL TUO SENTIMENTO...E' VERO ! QUANTA INCOMPETENZA, DISINTERESSE E..DISINCANTO...MA E' ANCHE VERO CHE ASSISTERE UN BEL TRAMONTO A FONTE ARETUSA , MIRACOLO FANTASTICO CHE SI RIPETE OGNI GIORNO ..DALLA NOTTE DEI TEMPI...BEH CREDO, CI RIPAGA DI TUTTO !

Busulmona: like Heaven!

Busulmona : XIXth  century farmhouse, once property of the  Cavaliere Sessa, today run by the family Di Pino. 5 km far from Noto it is immersed in a wonderful almond grove and carobs olives and all the colours of nature   make of this piece of Sicily a true paradise! It works as a B&B at the moment with only two bedroom, but it's also possible to have lunch tasting olive oil and almonds and wathever  what rigorously the family produce and cook for you!  Tranquillity, harmony, genuinity.. this are the things coming to my mind when I was there The name Busulmona , which is the name of all that area, comes from the Arabic and means the land of sun....  an extraordinary view  from the stone terrace on the Val di Noto, from Noto to Vendicari and Marzamemi... . for further information : www.busulmona.com

Now it's better!

Now it's better! Here I am! It's 6 weeks now since I fell, having troubles with the legaments of my right knee! Ahi che dolor! No work,no walk .......... Now it's better.....but slowly slowly....... Buona giornata!
