A ram-to ram collision at Egadi islands

Beneath these blue  waves,  around Egadi Island,north-west off the coast of Trapani, a battlefield has been identified and studied for the first time  ( Egadi Islands Survey Project)* around Levanzo, Marettimo and Favignana  the final battle of the first Punic War took place on 241 BC *founded by professor Sebastiano Tusa and professor Jeff Royal the latest material  recovered from sea-bed  confirm a ram-to-ram collision : 11 (maybe 13) bronze rams, still attached when they sank,  have been found   and could have been belonged both to Romans or Carthaginians. Interesting Greek-Italic amphorae, a few punic ones,  and  bronze helmet, among the artifacts found
